QUESTION&ANSWER
1) Turn on WIFI .
2) Turn on Bluetooth , and connect Carplay’s bluetooth.
3) After the bluetooth connection is completed, the following prompts will pop up, click ‘Use carplay’ .
4) After the connection is successful, the Carplay icon will display on the main menu of the screen. And it will enter Carplay automatically.
1) Turn on WIFI .
2) Turn on Bluetooth .
3) Search the Android phone’s bluetooth on the screen in carplay system.
4) Pair the bluetooth with your phone.
5) After connecting the bluetooth, it will pop up the following prompts.
6) Then it will enter Android auto automatically.
1) Download Android auto APP on your Android phone.
2) Click ‘WireAuto’ icon the prompt ‘Please connect your Android device’ will pop up.
3) Plug your phone to USB port. then it will enter Android auto automatically.
1) Click ‘Airplay’ icon first , the pairing information with the phone will be displayed.
2) Search wifi signal of Airplay and conenct.
3) Turn on Airplay.
4) After connecting Airplay, it will show like.
Note: If you have connected Carplay before, you need to disconnect Carplay first!
1) Download Android auto APP on your Android phone.
2) Click ‘Autolink’ icon, the prompt ‘Please connect your Android device’ will pop up.
3) Plug your phone to USB port. then it will enter Android auto automatically.

If there is no AUX setting function in the original car setting, customer needs purchase the auxiliary AMI cable by himself,and need to check the number of contacts on both sides of the port.
Reverse camera connection:
Mehod 1:
1) Connect the reverse camera to CVBS OUT labeled ‘Reverse camera’.
2) Connect the cable labeled ’12V reverse camera(yellow)’ to camera power.
3) Setting → Reverse → Reverse camera → Aftermarket.
Mehod 2:
1) Connect the reverse camera to CVBS OUT labeled ‘Reverse camera’
2)Setting → Reverse → Reverse camera → Aftermarket
Front camera conenction:
1) Connect the reverse camera to CVBS OUT labeled ‘Forward camera’
2) Connect the cable labeled ’12V ACC(Red)’ to camera power cable.
3) Note: Adjusting ‘Front View Time’ value to display the front camera images at the end or the beginning of reversing.
1) Need to connect to the original car microphone through a microphone adapter cable.
2) CIC and NBT microphone adapter cables share: label ‘MIC-22C-DZ’ (compatible with Volkswagen models)
1) Tap carplay Bluetooth or wifi on the mobile phone
2) At the same time, clear the Bluetooth devices on the mobile phone and the car, and then pair and connect
3) Go to WirelessDev to reset the Bluetooth, and then pair and connect.
4) Go to the mobile phone to restore the mobile network
5) Check whether the carplay on the mobile phone is turned on (settings-screen usage time-content and privacy access permissions-allowed APP)
Due to different production batches, check the label on the cic box. If the box is high-speed and low-speed separately, use Figure 1 for wiring connection. If it is a high- and low-speed compatible box, follow Figure 2 for wiring connection.

After a few AUDI carplay boxes are installed, the idrive knob does not work. It may be a problem with the can power cable, which needs to be modified as shown below:
