Hi..
I live in Iceland, and part of the year I live in Spain. I have 2 cars (both VAG), 1 in each country.
In Iceland, I have an old 2014/15 (B7) Volkswagen Passat R-Line Estate/Wagon.
In Spain, I have a Small 2022 Skoda Kamiq.
Both my Skoda & Volkswagen lack a Head-up Display (HUD), but my Skoda, being a 2022 model year, does have factory Android Auto/Apple CarPlay as well as a reverse camera.
Volkswagen Passat still has just the factory RCD 510 premium 8 Head Unit and front and rear parking sensors, no Android Auto / Apple CarPlay, and no Reverse Camera. So I am considering going with an aftermarket Head Unit to get Android Auto / Apple CarPlay and a reverse camera.
But I still would like to get a Heads Up Display for both cars, and I have been looking for a good aftermarket HUD unit that fits on top of the curved dashboard of both cars, although the VW Passat has a more curved dashboard than the Skoda does, and I haven’t found a good HUD yet, but perhaps this HUD might be worth trying, Especially since it has Android Auto / Carplay but i haven’t found much information or reviews about it nor any mentions here at all. At least it seems like nobody has posted here before, so I figured I might as well just post here and be the first, and maybe get a reply and/or more information about these HUD systems offered here.
